Officially announced at the Made by Google 2018 event on October 9th 2018, theGoogle Pixel 3 Pixel 3 XL among the first phones available with Android 9.0 (Pie). A single 12.2MP camera lens goes against the recent trend for multiple lenses. Overall the physical designs of both phones have been improved, with a slimmer chassis and more subtle variations in colour. Pixel 3 has thinner bezels than 2018's Pixel 2.
