It's early days yet to do a full review of the CAT, as it's longevity being subjected to harsh environments is the measure of its true performance.
It's light, seems robust, the camera does what I need it to although it hasn't been tested fully yet.
One thing that draws me to a mobile is the Dual SIM function, which has left me a little disappointed somewhat. Advertised as dual SIM is one thing that sold it to me. It would seem though I've been used to having my cake and eating it over the years, as all my other phones offered this additional to a micro SD, where as the CAT offers either one or the other. However it's not a complete let down because the internal memory is more than capable of storing everything you need. And the SIM to SD swap is easily accessible without the need to get out a screwdriver.
The graphics and screen are much clearer, brighter & sharper than my previous Android phone, which I would expect. But I do feel a little let down by the tools that come standard, being that this phone is aimed at the contractor/construction market, having far fewer than my previous non CAT Android phone.
The phone has played up, nothing major but played up none the less, this may be user error but the jury is still out. You see, I always leave my phone face down at night whilst charging so as not to disturb my nights slumber with charging lights, notifications etc. One night I wake to find the bedroom lit up by the torch, which had somehow activated itself, the jury is still out as this could have also been attributed to user error.
The touch screen is very sensitive, but then again sometimes not. It will operate a didgit on the keyboard sometimes just by simply hovering your finger close to the screen, but then on other occasions when operating a button press it does nothing, have also experienced freezing.
