Your Ultimate Pit Stop
We've completely redesigned the 2025 Strix SCAR 16 to make upgrades easier than ever. This tool-less design allows for simple access to both the RAM, SSD, and fans, and we've also brought our latest Q-latch system here for those SSD slots. Like an experienced pit crew, you can remove and replace your SSD and RAM in seconds, having the machine back up and running without missing a lap. A specially designed frame covers the rest of the mainboard to protect the other components, but can easily be removed with a few screws for users who want to tinker further.

We've completely revamped the cooling solution of the 2025 Strix SCAR 16 with precise calculations in mind to ensure that you get the best gaming experience with your machine, every time. We relocated all of the exhaust vents to the rear of the hinge, keeping warm air away from your mousing hand. The sides and bottom of the machine act as an air intake, creating a natural, efficient path for airflow. Air also flows through the keyboard deck, keeping your hands cooler during intense gaming sessions. When pairing an end-to-end vapor chamber with a sandwiched heatsink, Tri-Fan Technology, and Conductonaut Extreme liquid metal on both CPU & GPU, the 2025 Strix SCAR 16 achieves a lower noise level in Turbo Mode compared to the previous generation, while still offering the same calculated excellence you expect from a Strix SCAR machine.

ROG Nebula HDR
Your laptop's display is a window into new worlds, which is why we put the absolute best on our ROG Strix SCAR 16. This ROG Nebula HDR display with Mini LED technology features over 2000 dimming zones, 1200 nits of peak brightness, and beautiful colors thanks to 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. The 2025 SCAR 16 has also been upgraded with a brand-new dual ACR layer, which reduces reflections and enhances contrast by 4.5X for incredibly vivid colors. When combined with our own Nebula HDR engine, this display ensures every game and movie is done true justice. And with a blazing fast refresh rate of 240Hz and full NVIDIA G-SYNC support, motion will be incredibly smooth, allowing you to see every enemy before they see you.

Win with Flair
The 2025 Strix lineup has been redesigned from the ground up, built for powerful performance, maximum speed, and calculated movement, with a shape inspired by automotive racing, an emphasis on smooth lines define the Strix SCAR 16, representing speed and aerodynamics.

Full-surround Aura
ROG Strix machines have always been loud and proud with RGB, but the 2025 ROG Strix SCAR 16 truly raises the bar. For the first time ever, this laptop features a full-surround RGB lightbar along the bottom of the chassis, giving you full 360-degree and distinct glow that almost makes your machine float off your desk.

AniMe Vision
Originally pioneered on our famous Zephyrus series, the Strix SCAR 16 sports an AniMe Vision display on the laptop's lid. With an array of 810 LEDs shining through 8,353 precision-milled holes, you can show off your style with a wide selection of pre-made animations, import a GIF of your choice, or animate your own image from scratch.

Seamless design
The 2025 ROG Strix SCAR 16 chassis now features a smoother texture for an extra premium feel, and the corners have been chamfered to give it a more elegant and contemporary look. With rounded edges, a streamlined shape, and reduced seams, the 2025 ROG Strix SCAR 16 is sleeker than ever.

Stealth mode
While standout lighting effects are awesome when gaming with friends, you may want a more subtle, sophisticated look when you're in class or at the office. So our Stealth Mode turns all the lights off, revealing a polished layer of black chromium plating under the logo for an ultra-sleek feel.

Press the Attack
The difference between victory and defeat can be separated by a single keystroke, so the Strix SCAR 16 has a professional esports-grade keyboard designed to secure the win. Built to last, the Strix SCAR 16's keyboard switches are rated to last over 20 million presses, and n-key rollover guarantees your system will never miss a command even if you're pressing multiple keys at once. The Strix SCAR 16 has a full-sized keyboard, with dedicated media controls and customizable hotkeys for different Armoury Crate functions. And with per-key RGB and full Aura Sync customization, the Strix SCAR 16 will always have the looks to match your mood.

Studio-quality Sound
Dolby Atmos-powered speakers include two tweeters and two downward firing woofers to create an authentic sound stage for your games. Hi-Res audio ensures you hear your music in the same quality it was recorded. Two-Way AI Noise Cancelation processes both incoming and outgoing audio to filter any errant background noises, making sure that your calls, chats and streams come through without distraction.

All Day Endurance
We equipped the Strix SCAR 16 with a large 90Wh battery, which provides plenty of endurance for video playback and web browsing. If you're traveling without the included power supply, it also supports USB Type-C power delivery up to 100W, allowing you easily top up a charge while on the go.

All the bandwidth
Connectivity is everything in a high-performance machine, so we've spared no expense with the Strix SCAR 16's feature set. With support for the latest Wi-Fi 7 standard, offering download speeds up to 2.4X times faster than Wi-Fi 6, onboard 2.5G ethernet, and dual Thunderbolt 5 ports, this machine puts even many desktop battlestations to shame. We've also included a FHD camera with Windows Hello support, allowing you to unlock the machine possible with just a smile. Windows Hello also provides better cybersecurity thanks to facial recognition. Only your face grants access, keeping your data safe and secure.

Incredible I/O
Ports allow you to connect your mouse, headset, or even an external monitor, so we gave the Strix SCAR 16 an incredibly flexible I/O that can adapt to any situation. On the right side you'll find two USB-A ports, but the left side offers the bulk of the connections, with an audio jack, dual Thunderbolt 5 ports (USB Type-C), a single USB-A, HDMI 2.1, a 2.5G ethernet port, and the power port. If you can imagine your ideal battlestation, the Strix SCAR 16 can make it a reality.

Endless Customization
When you want to tweak settings, monitor temperatures, or tinker with your laptop, Armoury Crate is your command center. Real-time monitoring allows you to see what your GPU, CPU and memory are doing. RGB can be adjusted on a game-by-game basis with Aura Sync. Fan and power profiles allow you to change the acoustics, power delivery, and thermal characteristics of the laptop on the fly. And exclusive game deals keep your library topped off at all times.

More than just simple fan curves, Armoury Crate's performance modes serve to transform your machine from a silent, power sipping web browser to a full gaming battlestation with maximum horsepower. And for those that require even more granular control, Manual mode removes all limiters and lets you make a custom profile that suits your exact needs.
