Outstanding Performance
The mantra when It comes to the B7 series’ display is ‘Infused with colour’, with every model offering rich colours, wide viewing angles and fine control to ensure a consistent, quality viewing experience.
The BW257Q specifically features a 25” WUXGA IPS display. WUXGA is a 1920x1080 resolution, which has a 16:10 aspect ratio instead of the more common 16:9 – this means the BW257Q has more than 10% more vertical display space, making it ideal for working on word documents and other such tasks. The B7 series features 6-axis colour adjustment to ensure that you can fine-tune your display to meet your needs. This also ensures it has a Delta E value of <1, which is a measure of how accurate the output of the monitor is, when a Delta E value is <1 then the colour variation is imperceptible to the human eye.
The attention to image quality for the B7 series is matched only by the focus on ensuring that it is comfortable to use and protects the user’s vision. To this end, Acer have integrated their VisionCare suite of technologies into the B7 monitors – BlueLightShield, Flickerless, Low Dimming and ComfyView. These technologies are designed to minimise eye strain and fatigue when using the monitor, especially for extended periods such as work environments.
The B7 series is perfectly suited to any workplace thanks to a range of features that are designed with businesses in mind. The first thing you’ll notice is the understated, professional style that is accentuated by the super-slim ZeroFrame bezels, which not only serve keep size and weight to a minimum but also make the B7 monitors ideal for multi-monitor systems. This is supported by a wide range of useful connectivity options, including VGA, HDMI and DisplayPort.
Ergonomics are also a huge focus for the design of the B7 series, as well as looking stylish the ErgoStand is capable of a wide range of movement to ensure that you can adjust the screen to the ideal position, to help further combat eye strain as well as minimising physical discomfort by allowing you to sit comfortably and maintain good posture.
